Frequently asked questions
What are the holiday dates for this year?
See the diary section of the site or pick up a list from the school office.
How much are school dinners?
Dinners cost £1.60 a day. Money should ideally be sent in at the start of the week in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the child’s name, class and the days meals are required.
When is my child’s class assembly and at what time?
See the diary section of the site.
Can my child have milk at school?
Yes. You can register on the internet at www.coolmilk.co.uk, or you can obtain a school milk order form from the school office.
Is my child eligible for free school meals and if so how do I apply?
Information and application forms for free school meals are available from the school office, or you can contact the Warwickshire County Council Free School Meals Office on 01926 742060.
How can I help out in school or on school trips?
Check with your child’s class teacher in the first instance. Please note all volunteers in school must undergo a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check before they can help. Disclosure application forms are available from the school office.
How do I order school uniform?
School sweatshirts, cardigans, fleeces, reversible coats, shirts, hats and book bags are available to buy on Wednesday afternoons between 2.45-3.15pm in the entrance hall. If you are unable to make it you can complete and send in an order form with the appropriate money in an envelope clearly marked “school uniform order” and your purchases can be sent home with your child. An order form can be downloaded from the virtual school office section of the site, or is available from the school office.
How do I apply for a holiday during term time?
A holiday form can be downloaded from the virtual school office section of the site, or is available from the school office.
Can my child be given medicine in school?
Parents are asked to come into school and administer medicines as required. Children, however, are encouraged to be responsible for the administration of their own inhalers. If your child needs to have an inhaler in school please make sure that it is clearly marked with their name and class, and that the teacher is made aware of any requirements.
